Back outside the castle and just below its walls is the famous Trip to Jerusalem public house. The pub is built into the cliffs below the castle and some of the bars are cut into the rock.

The image above shows the Brewhouse Museum Yard and the roofs of the cottages housing the Brewhouse Museum.

No visit to Nottingham Castle would be complete without a mention of Robin Hood whose statue and plaques grace a courtyard below the castle walls.

You can see what a glorious day it has been today. Blue skies and beautiful Spring flowers in the castle park.

What wonderful weather you had on Tuesday. We had rain but it was really nice yesterday (Wednesday). You look like you had a whale of a time in Nottingham. I've never been there so it's really nice to "share" your day! Best wishes, Carolyn
