Patchings Art Festival

The courtyard at Patchings.

I can't believe it's June already and the time has come round again for the wonderful 4 day art and craft extravaganza that is the Patchings Art Festival. If you live within reach of Calverton near Nottingham it is well worth a visit for its atmosphere alone. The Festival starts tomorrow and goes on until Sunday. Hopefully the rain we've had over the last few days won't cause too much of a problem underfoot, the site seems to be fairly well drained whenever I have gone before. Anyway, I'll find out tomorrow because I'm going! I definitely need some 'me' time so, blow the cleaning that needs doing at home, I'm off! I'll take a few piccies for you. Or maybe I'll see you there?

The textures in your last post have got me very excited. I'm about to start silver enamelling and these images are really inspiring - gorgeous! I think you could sell that group of images as a print - I'd buy it.

Very sad I can't make it to Calverton for the festival. It sounds wonderful.

usual problem , live so close to Patchings ( 4 mile or so) but we will be camping on the other side of the country at the weekend. Have a great time.
