Festival of Quilts

is looking less likely by the day.  I should have been going across today to stay till the weekend but my friend is still very poorly and still waiting for surgery.  I am hanging on to the hope that I may be able to get there on Saturday by coach just for the day.  Who knows?  If anyone is going and can photograph my quilt for me I would be really grateful.  It is number 381.

We'll all photograph your quilt for you Julie!! I thought I might not be able to go myself because Aunty is so poorly in Cardiff hospital, but I went to see her today and was thrilled to find her coming round. She recognised me and the dr. said she'd eaten and drunk something, so I think I'll risk it.

I do hope your friend will feel better after her surgery. Aunty who is 87, has had 2 ops on her broken leg and came through both of them very well, so take heart. xx

Julie, I am happy to see that you have someone to take pictures. I know that it must be hard for you, but you have your priorities right, as you know. How lonely to be in hospital without you! And how scary. Hang in there, as we say "across the pond." By the by, your lace is on the way.
Hugs

I took a photo of your quilt too - having recognised it from reading your blog. I took loads of photos, tried to include numbers, but have now lost the orange bit of the catalogue so I'm pleased that one of the photos has been identified. It is really lovely, pleased you had a good time.
