DH is in the bath

Oops! I didn't expect to get on here so quickly but DH has helped me get my pics onto his computer and he's now snoring in the bath so I grabbed my chance!
~
This is the very sweet toy chair that I won in Trashalou's raffle. The artwork is Moogsmum's.
~
~
And below is the back of the chair.
~
Isn't it lovely? The chair is about 10" tall.
~
~
Underneath the chair was a parcel wrapped in the loveliest tissue paper and look what the very naughty Lesley aka Moogsmum has sent me! All the loveliness above. The gorgeous fabric with the fish has come from Hong Kong and I will have to use it for something special. The butterflies are fusible and there are various crochet and cotton doillies and traycloths and a packet of mixed organza. Add to all this a great wodge of tissue paper that the chair was wrapped in, some venetian blind fabric which has intriguing possibilities, and I have a bumper bundle.
~
A certain person in the house has already collared the chair for her own use and is now surveying the room along with my favourite pieces and pebbles.
~
~
Thank you, Lesley, so much, for your generosity. :o)) It arrived just at the right time as I had my gastroscopy yesterday and was feeling under the weather this morning. I had sedation for the test and I felt as if I was moving through treacle this morning. My throat is pretty sore too but that should wear off in a day or two. I've been told I've got a hiatus hernia so that probably explains the symptoms I've been getting. Keep taking the tablets!
~
Anyway, enough of that. Thank you Lesley. You have a heart of gold.

Love your doll on your previous post and what a lovely parcel to give you a lift when you most need it. We shall watch this space with anticipation! Do hope you are beginning to feel better - my brother-in-law had a haitus hernia, a very unpleasant condition but the treatment was most successful. Best wishes.

Glad you know what is wrong with you now, keep taking the tablets. Love the doll from an earlier post, also the photos of Pickering area - just loved that part of Yorkshire when we visited the UK a few years ago. Cheers, Robin

I hope the tables help you feel better Julie. And agree with the other ladies that it is good that you know what is wrong now.

Love the chair you received and all the lovely goodies (wow).

And smiled at the sight of the Ruby doll and Dotee doll I sent to you sitting happily on it!

Have a great weekend.

Dot xx

Lovely little doll and lucky you with the chair prize.
I don't envy you having a gastroscopy though. But at leat it gave you the information you need to sort things out.

Doesn't your doll look like the 'cat that stole the cream' in that gorgeous little chair.
I hope you're throat is easing up now, but at least you know what's wrong, hope it gets sorted soon.

p.s. I got the blind fabric from my local scrapstore, thinking it had possibilites. I made fans for Chinese New Year with a school group and it looked lovely. Can't wait to see what you make of it!

Just found your helpful comment on how to alter the position of photos on my post. I'm still at the stage where I'm grateful that I can get them on there!! I'll pluck up the courage to take your advice soon. I forgot to mention the little chair in my previous comment - I think it is delightful. Hope your medication is helping you to feel much more comfortable.

Thank you, everyone, for your very kind comments and good wishes. I think I have finally got the sedation out of my system so I feel much better today :o) The sore throat has gone too so I am a happier bunny today!
