Sky Watch Friday

No, I haven't got the photo upside down! This was taken about this time last year at Belton House on a beautiful autumn afternoon and, as you can see, the sky was a gorgeous blue.

I have now officially made 100 posts! Incredible! I didn't know what I was expecting from starting a blog but it has certainly had a huge effect on my life already. My art is going in directions I never dreamed of and I have made contact with so many warm, generous and friendly people. I really appreciate the fact that so many people look in here and thank everybody for their comments. I haven't managed to build up a stock of finished pieces yet - I'm very good at Works in Progress and UnFinished Objects - but, I would like to mark my 100th post so, if you leave a comment between now and Monday I promise to get my DH to pick a name out and, sooner or later, I will send a little token of my friendship and appreciation. Please make sure you have an email available so that I can contact you.
Thank you for all the good wishes for my dear neighbour. I've heard that she is improving. Stewart saw her while he was at work today and she is now complaining that she is bored so she must be feeling better! At the moment they are just keeping an eye on her so the family don't yet know what is going to happen. I am just pleased that she seems to be over the awful confusion of the other day.

Great photo. Keep going with the blog. I get times when I think I'll just push the delete button and start again, but if you can keep going, you'll find that it gives you something to look back on which is very useful when you're wondering what direction to take!
