Dilly and Bob (and their mummy and daddy) brought cake as every good visitor does. Dilly's Mummy Helena had made a gorgeous Gypsy Tart which is a local speciality in Kent and is a gooey caramel layer on top of a shortbread base. Bob had brought a delicious Apple and Blackberry sponge from his favourite shop, Tesco (no affiliation!)

Bob got into the party spirit and indulged in a spot of Irish dancing. Go Bob go!

He also made sure that his name was written on the Hobnobs we had bought him so there could be no doubt who they belonged to.

Dilly had a present too. This is the surprise, secret project I was working on on Saturday. I found the lovely dragon print fabric when we were on holiday in Derbyshire and I knew I had to make something for Dilly with it.

I made Dilly a cushion but chickened out at the zip and made it housewife style. The trick was then to find a cushion pad to fit as my measurements were a bit out! Oops! This was my first attempt at a cushion so I'm quite pleased with the result.
