Circles

Posted by Picasa
Today has been a bit of a non-event for me as I have plonked myself on the settee and not moved all day except to go to bed for a sleep this afternoon. As you may guess from that, I was totally wiped out for some reason so I listened to my body and took it easy. One good thing to come out of it is I've gone through my photo files and extracted every circle image I can find. This is for an exercise in Sharon Boggon's Journalling course - for lesson 4 actually, bearing in mind that I am still on Lesson 2, but I couldn't resist this one. I have got enough images to make several of these collages so I will be revisiting it and maybe looking at circle images of a similar colour or texture. The idea is also to look at other shapes, squares, triangles or at straight lines or curved lines. This could be a life's work! (I should actually be exploring the local neighbourhood with a camera as the aim is to get you to be more aware as you go about every day but energy levels today wouldn't stretch to leaving the house - poor old beggar!)

I did the same. LOL!

I usually have trouble sleeping, but not this weekend. I slept from about 9pm Saturday to 6am SUnday, when I got up to put out bird food. My partner found me asleep on the sofa at 8.30am. From there, I returned to my bed. I got up at 3pm (!!!), stayed up for an hour or so, then went back to sleep, feeling sick and dizzy. I was up again about 8ish for an hour. Then asleep again till 11.30.

That;s about...22 hours sleep or
so???

I snacked when I was up, so it wasn;t not eating. It wasn;'t really physical tiredness either- my head tells me when to wind down and I've learnt to listen to it. It tells me just as clearly as the body does when it's tired.

Alarm bells ring and I have to burrow.

Still in burrowing mode. Dreading the morning. Washing machine broke and we are having a new one delivered and we HOPE installed as well. I'd rather not be the one handling it, but needs must.

Love the circles....... very inspiring.

And so glad to hear that you actually listen to your body and take note! It does pay............ If only more people would do that.

Looking forward to future posts - I really enjoy your progress.........

Well done you for listening to your body, so few people do. I hope you feel the benefit today, and your pic exercise was well worth taking the time out to do, it's fabulous, so much inspiration there.
Thank you so much for dropping in on my blog, especially as you didn't feel well, glad you liked it. The pig had won best in his class so he ad a right to look pleased with himself.

Sometimes you just have to give in and do what your body tells you. Good for you doing what you needed to do for yourself. Hope you feel rejuvenated by now.
