I have had a lovely surprise in the post today - the last of the pincushions from my Fibre Art Traders swap. This beautiful pincushion and crocheted (or are they tatted?) motifs have come all the way from Diana in Kentucky.
The material for the pincushion is tartan and as you can see from the closeup it has been intricately beaded with tiny beads. It's all gorgeous. Thank you Diana!
Every month at MixedMediaATCs_UK we have a themed Lottery where all the cards entered go to the person whos name is picked at random. We can enter up to two cards and here is the first of my entries:
The background is from a "cobwebbed" page I had made using inks and salt. I have then used two skeleton leaves collaged on top. As the theme is Evergreen I've concentrated more on the "green" than the "ever".
OK, I'm off to make some backgrounds for my Christmas Trees.
