Fortunately there was just Jon and myself to cook Christmas dinner for, unlike previous soup kitchen occasions - shortly after Christmas Jon caught it (Rolls eyes) We are over it now - but still got a cough.mrsnesbitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16882736507772457598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1632847120981731957.post-91364234241527956772016-01-12T22:50:43.699+00:002016-01-12T22:50:43.699+00:00I do hope you both get better soon. Good to know that the weft 'hanging loose' has a name! I've always woven 3 rows & tied a knot at each end, then carried on with a different colour. a bit bulky but nicely varied. Would love to learn about making shapes in the weaving one day. I have NO DOUBT they will be interested in displaying your piece!Emmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18114514969969050590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1632847120981731957.post-14909210511964556402016-01-11T23:16:50.448+00:002016-01-11T23:16:50.448+00:00Love this work you are doing it's so textural ...Love this work you are doing it's so textural and just plain FUN. xoxAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1632847120981731957.post-44271757488194022672016-01-10T05:08:05.016+00:002016-01-10T05:08:05.016+00:00I hope the chocolate is helping! Hopefully some colder and drier weather will kill of some of the germs that are doing the rounds.
Your weaving is wonderful - you have obviously thoroughly embraced a new technique.
Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06826501916623305535noreply@blogger.com
